Overview
FrameSight is a macOS tool for visual comparison workflows: browsing, zooming, scrubbing through video, comparing material side by side, and reviewing visual differences without unnecessary interface overhead.
Why I built it
Image and video evaluation often happens across tools that were not designed for focused comparison. FrameSight started from a simple question: how much friction can be removed from the loop between seeing a difference and making a decision?
What it is becoming
The long-term direction is not “another media viewer.” It is a faster workspace for visual decisions, with room for smarter search and AI-assisted visual understanding as those capabilities become genuinely useful.
What I’ve learned
FrameSight is also a real-world testbed for building and shipping independent macOS software with increasingly capable AI coding agents. Those workflow lessons will become part of Ronny Sight’s writing.
